At BarCamp Orlando

written by Steven Bristol on April 8th, 2008

Allan and I went to Orlando for the BarCamp this weekend. We took the opertunity to do four talks. Back to back. Two solid hours of Less Goodness.

The talks were:
  1. Lovd By Less.
  2. Partners in Business, Not Life: How to choose a business partner.
  3. Fuck Open ID – Single Sign On using Google.
  4. What is Good UI

We were very happy with the talks and got quite a bit of positive feed back. Here are some pictures:

    I’d be interested in the slides for the Fuck Open ID session. Any chance?

    @Jörn,

    Sorry but there weren’t any slides. I basically just made it up as I went.

    I might make slides the next time I give the talk.

    Perhaps a how-to of using sso with google?

    @Brian,

    I am planning on releasing a plugin/gem.

    +1 to the SSO using Google. I would love to learn how you are doing this. SSO has always been a huge issue.

    SSO has always been a huge issue.

    I’ve been at this game in way or another since 1991 – that’s always been the refrain, be it NetWare, Vines, Solaris, Windows.

    Still lookin’ for that Holy Grail (grin).
