	&lt;p&gt;Thanks for the offer. I&#8217;m basically looking for one or two people to join the team with commit rights. I think my post made it sound more like I wanted to give the project away and the truth is I just need some help.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;I&#8217;m a big fan of Lovd and think there definitely needs to be an active open source RoR social network project. I didn&#8217;t see anyone on the Google Group really pushing to be the maintainer so I thought I&#8217;d put out a feeler.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;We&#8217;re a social network company built on Rails and it&#8217;s always been my intention to open source our social network infrastructure. There&#8217;s a lot in Lovd that I like, especially as you have a wonderful front-end. But I don&#8217;t want to step on anyone&#8217;s toes or create a situation that&#8217;s too jarring for the community.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;If you&#8217;re not getting strong candidates privately, then I&#8217;d love a chance to exchange some emails.&lt;/p&gt;</content>  </entry>

I woke up earlier than usual (3 hours), saw a video of linus talking about git at google plex (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XpnKHJAok8) , watched this screencast http://railscasts.com/episodes/96 (FOR &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;FREE AS IN BEER&lt;/span&gt;), listened to half of a interview of one of the people at less, and last but not least fork, push, pull and commit for the first time ever.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;pd: i am already on github!&lt;/p&gt;
